We are proud to announce the first project of The Emigsville Heritage Project.

Banners will be hung along the west side of North George Street on utility poles in downtown Emigsville.

The 24 banners will have three designs highlighting the historical fabric of our community.

  • The Emig Mansion
  • Acme Wagon Company

If you are interesting in sponsoring a banner for a fee (projected to be hung this fall) to promote your business, organization or honor someone, contact Hafa Construction Inc. 764-8709 or the Emig Mansion at 764-2226

If you have Emigsville news, events or pictures that you would like to see on this site email me at mail@emigsville.org or use the “comment” link at the bottom of each page to share a public comment about this posting.

Is the design resolved for the third banner (Emigsville Band)? Manchester Twp. Historical Society is interested in first choice, Band banner, but would like to see design; second choice, Acme Wagon banner. What is cut-off deadline for placing order?

  2. We are not guaranteeing where the banners will be hung or which banner you will receive. With that said, we will do our best to give you what you want. If there is a preference, it will be first come first serve.

We have not seen the rendering for the third banner (the band) and there hasn’t been much demand for this picture so far. As far as a cut off date, we are trying to collect funds ASAP so that we may get them into production and on the poles.

Looking for history on fire engines built by Acme Wagon around 1847 to 1858. Have info and photos that refer to same.
